Scientific name: Acacia dealbata subsp. dealbata

Common Name: Silver Wattle

Distribution: Tasmania, Victoria, NSW.

General Information: Tree to approximately 33 metres. Flowers July-September, yellow racemes of bright yellow globular spheres, leaves bipinnate, blue-green with 10-20 pairs of pinnae on each leaflet. Seed pods are brown, oblong and numerous on the tree - not constricted between seeds, one nectar secretion gland (nectary), between the pinnae.
