Corymbia "Summer Red"

Family: Myrtaceae, Subfamily: Myrtoideae, Tribe: Eucalypteae, Genus: Corymbia, Cultivar.

Common Name: "Summer Red" or Flowering gum

Distribution: Widely cultivated as an ornamental, hybrid of C.ficifolia and C.ptychocarpa, brilliant red flowering displays mainly during Summer months however, flowering can occur throughout the year.

General Information:

Large weeping, glossy leaves, inflorescences in the form of terminal panicles, flowering mainly during summer.
