Eucalyptus conferruminata [ID CHECK - possibly Eucalyptus lehmanniiEucalyptus conferruminata D.J.Carr & S.G.M.Carr, Austral. J. Bot. 28: 535 (1980). Family: Myrtaceae, Subfamily: Myrtoideae, Tribe: Eucalypteae, Genus: Eucalyptus, Subgenus: Symphyomyrtus, Section: Bisectae Common Name: Bald Island Marlock Distribution: South-western Australia, specimen located in Kingston, Hobart. General Information: Tree or shrub to 8 metres. No lignotuber. Bark: Smooth, grey/cream/white Leaves: Elliptical, ovate, oblong, reticulation moderate, oil glands intersectional, side veins acute. Inflorescences: Auxillary, unbranched, broad, flattened peduncles, buds 15-21 or more per umbel, joined at hypanthium (syncarpous), scar present, horn-shaped operculum 4–6 times as long as the fused bud area. Fruit: Woody, blackish-grey,fused hypanthiums, peduncle broad & flattened, downturned.
