General Information: Medium to very tall tree. Bark mainly smooth, shedding in strips. Adult leaves petiolate, falcate, lanceolate, alternating. concolorous, glossy green. Single or three flowered, buds relatively large, sessile, with distinct ribs, glaucous, scar visible, operculum flattened, warty. Flowering period Sept-Dec, white stamens. Fruit sessile, disc broad with 4 or 5 valves, ribbed, level to ascending.
