Deane & Maiden Family: Myrtaceae, Subfamily: Myrtoideae, Tribe: Eucalypteae, Genus: Eucalyptus, Subgenus: Symphyomyrtus, Section: Latoangulatae, Series: Lepidotae-Fimbriatae, Common Name: Grey gum, Small-fruited grey gum Distribution: New South Wales, Queensland General Information: Tree to around 40m Bark: Smooth, orange, coppery, with grey, shedding in strips. Leaves: Adult leaves alternate, petiolate, lanceolate to falcate,oil glands island and intersectional, dense reticulation. Inflorescences: Auxillary unbranched, buds 7-15, clavate to ovoid. Flowering period January, February, April Fruit: Sessile or pedicellate, hemispherical, valves 3-4 exserted, disc slightly raised or level.
