Common Name: White Peppermint, Narrow-leaved Peppermint

Distribution: Endemic in teastern and south-eastern Tasmania.

General Information: Medium sized tree with smooth bark, adult leaves alternating, linear to narrow lanceolate, concolorous, reticulation sparse with island oil glands.

Buds clavate, no scar. Flowers white, flowering period between August and February.

Fruit usually crowded, cupular to truncate-globose, disc more or less level, valves 4 near rim level or slightly enclosed.
