Distribution: Tas, Vic, NSW

General Information: Tussocky shrub, approximately 3 metres, with long, sharp leaves. Inflorescences brown with dark brown scales and yellow stamens (inset). Fruit is orange/brown nuts that hang from a filament.

Specimen: The photo of this specimen was taken at Mountain River, December 2009 on sandy, well drained hillside.
